Tech Transformation in Epe: NGO, Eredo LCDA, and UK Partner Launch £500 Software Testing Training. 

kakalistiq.com  reports that the tech scene in Epe is buzzing with excitement as the highly anticipated £500 software testing training, organized by The Emerald Better Living Foundation in collaboration with Eredo LCDA and UK-based firm Mainstone Technologies, kicked off on September 21st and 22nd, 2024.

The five-week program, held at the Eredo LCDA legislative building, has drawn a passionate group of trainees eager to tap into the fast-evolving world of technology.

Addressing the trainees and partners, Mr. Salami Adebanjo, President of The Emerald Better Living Foundation, stressed the importance of equipping Epe’s youth with essential tech skills. “In a world driven by technology, we can’t afford to be left behind. This training is not just about software testing; it’s about opening doors to global opportunities. We want our youths to lead, innovate, and become key players in a smart, tech-savvy world,” he stated.

His remarks were echoed by the foundation’s Secretary, Mr. Kaka Babatunde, who added, “The future of Epe rests on our ability to embrace these changes and position ourselves at the forefront of technological advancement.”

Hon. Muyiwa Okesanya, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and former sole administrator of Eredo LCDA, also shared his vision for the training. “Epe can only develop when its people develop. This program aims to enhance our youths, positioning them for opportunities in the global tech space. We need to move beyond just social media and explore areas that will shape our future.”

Mr. Ibrahim, the CEO of Mainstone Technologies and lead resource person for the training, emphasized the importance of adaptability in the tech industry during the robust virtual orientation program. “This training is designed to equip you with the practical skills needed to excel in software testing and beyond, opening doors to both local and global opportunities. Embrace the process, stay curious, and don’t be afraid to challenge yourselves,” he averred.

The trainees, ranging from students to aspiring tech professionals, expressed high hopes for the course. Miss Abdul Roimoh, a computer science student, said, “I expect a lot from this program. It’s a chance to gain deeper insight into my field, and I’m grateful to the organizers for offering such a rare opportunity.”

Opemipo David, another trainee, shared, “My expectation is to gain skills that will allow me to work, earn, and secure my future. I thank the organizers for making this possible.”

Miss Okunade Priscilla also highlighted the impact of the training, stating, “This program is truly valuable, and I’m learning so much. A big thank you to the organizers for all the sacrifices they’ve made to bring this to us.”

Mr. Ogunde Ademayowa Gabriel echoed similar sentiments, saying, “I expect to become fully enlightened about software testing and apply the knowledge I’ve gained here. I’m grateful to the organizers and Eredo LCDA for giving us this life-changing opportunity.”

With such strong enthusiasm from both the organizers and participants, the software testing training is expected to open new career doors and build the tech capacity.
