Just days after his official inauguration for a second term, kakalistiq.com reports that the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has shown no signs of slowing down, kicking off his renewed tenure with the launch of Summer Coaching 2.0, a free academic support program for SS 2 and SS 3 students across the council area.

The initiative, fully sponsored by the council under Anomo’s leadership, is aimed at preparing students for better performance in their final secondary school examinations by offering intensive revision classes and subject-based guidance.
Set to run from Monday, August 4 to Friday, September 5, 2025, the program will hold daily from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at four designated centers across the LCDA including L.G. Primary School, Agbowa-Ikosi; RCM Primary School, Itoikin; RCM Primary School, Ketu and Temu Community Junior High School.
According to the weekly timetable released by the LCDA’s Chief Press Secretary, Areh Abdulhamid, students will engage with core subjects critical for exam success:
Subject Timetable (10:00 am – 12:00 pm):
Monday: English Language / Mathematics
Tuesday: Biology / Economics
Wednesday: Physics / Commerce / Government
Thursday: Mathematics / English Language
Friday: Chemistry / Accounting / Literature-in-English
The launch of Summer Coaching 2.0 sends a strong signal about the Chairman’s resolve to prioritize youth development, education, and long-term empowerment from the very first week of his new term.
“Education is the strongest foundation we can give our young people,” Chairman Anomo stated. “This program is not just about passing exams, it’s about building confidence and shaping the leaders of tomorrow.”
Students across the LCDA are encouraged to take full advantage of this free academic opportunity, as the council continues its drive to make Ikosi-Ejinrin a hub for excellence and growth.
