Wale Raji in advancing education within the LCDA. Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of a block of 12 classrooms facilitated by Rep. Wale Raji in Owu-Ikosi, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, on Monday, February 26th, 2024, the chairman emphasized the strategic importance of the project in addressing the challenges that will arise from the relocation.
Acknowledging the significance of the project amidst the impending influx of over 5,000 sawmill workers and their families, Chairman Wale Raji Anomo highlighted the LCDA’s commitment to supporting the government in addressing health, security, and educational needs. He praised Rep. Wale Raji for his foresight in providing educational infrastructure to mitigate the impact of the relocation on the community.
“The project is strategic because Hon. Tasir Olawale Raji is giving us a block of 12 classrooms at Owu here in Agbowa Ikosi,” stated Chairman Wale Raji Anomo. “This project is strategic because Mr. Governor, our performing Governor, Governor Babajide Sanwoolu, and Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat are bringing Oko-Baba here in Owu, Agbowa in Ikosi-Ejinrin.”
Recognizing the challenges that will accompany the relocation, Chairman Wale Raji Anomo underscored the LCDA’s collaborative efforts with Rep. Wale Raji by pledging the provision of an additional block of classrooms in Owu-Ikosi.
