kakalistiq.com reports that a Non-Profit Organization, Age Nigeria Foundation has issued an urgent appeal to the public for financial and medical assistance to save the life of Pa Oshilade, a revered elder and grassroots leader currently battling chronic health issues.
The Convener, Mrs Oluyemisi Oluwole who visited the community leader, in her statement confirmed that Pa Oshilade is known for his tireless work with older persons in Epe as an Age Nigeria Older Monitoring Champion. She noted that he requires immediate medical intervention to address his worsening condition.
“For years, Pa Oshilade has dedicated himself to improving the lives of older persons in the Epe communities. His selfless service has earned him recognition as a vital figure in local development and advocacy for the elderly. Additionally, his home has often been a hub for political activity, with campaign posters displayed as a testament to his commitment to local politics”
“However, the dedicated community leader is now facing severe health challenges, and urgent medical support is needed to ensure he receives the care required for recovery,” she stated.
The Age Nigeria Foundation is urging Nigerians to come together in support of Pa Oshilade by donating financially adding that contributions can be made to Age Nigeria Foundation (Account No: 2997422015, FCMB) to cover the costs of Pa Oshilade’s medical treatment. Every donation, no matter the size, she believes, brings him closer to receiving the care he needs.
The foundation also made passionate appeal to medical professionals to volunteer their services or assist in connecting Pa Oshilade to specialists who can provide the required care.
The NGO is also urging the public to share this appeal widely, noting that amplifying the message on social media, WhatsApp, and other platforms will help to ensure Pa Oshilade’s story reaches those who can offer assistance.
