In a significant step toward transformative governance, kakalistiq.com reports that Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), presented the 2025 fiscal appropriation bill to the LCDA Legislative Council. Dubbed the “Budget of Sustainable Development,” the proposal emphasizes the administration’s focus on inclusive growth and long-term progress.
Speaking at the presentation, Otunba Anomo expressed gratitude to the Legislative Council and stakeholders for their steadfast support since the inception of his administration. “Our collective achievements are a testament to unity and shared commitment, which have driven the remarkable strides in Ikosi-Ejinrin,” he stated.
The proposed budget prioritizes critical sectors, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, environmental sustainability, and economic empowerment. Describing it as a “transformative roadmap,” Anomo asserted that the plan would serve as a “beacon of hope, paving the way for a brighter and more prosperous Ikosi-Ejinrin.”
Reiterating his administration’s dedication to the 10-year Ikosi-Ejinrin Administrative Blueprint, Anomo called on residents to continue supporting the government’s initiatives. He pledged to “build bridges, break barriers, and inspire transformative dreams within the LCDA.”
The event, according to Areh AbdulHamid O., Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman, attracted dignitaries, including Vice Chairman Alhaji Wasiu Dehinsilu, members of the Executive Cabinet, and the Management team.
Leader of the House, Hon. Hassan Mustapha, lauded Anomo and his team for their outstanding contributions to the LCDA’s development. “The administration’s impactful programs and projects have significantly reshaped Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA,” Mustapha remarked.
In a show of solidarity, all six legislators passed a unanimous vote of confidence in Anomo’s leadership. They urged party stakeholders and residents to support his re-election, declaring, “Ikosi-Ejinrin is indeed in safe hands with Anomo.”
Hon. Mustapha also assured that the legislature would prioritize the thorough review and swift passage of the budget. “We will fulfill our constitutional duty to ensure this appropriation bill receives the attention it deserves,” he pledged.
With the 2025 Budget of Sustainable Development setting the tone for another year of innovation and growth, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA appears poised for greater achievements under Anomo’s leadership.
