Rep. Bayo Balogun Pledges Stronger Constituency Welfare, Inspired by Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Kakalistiq.com reports that the member representing Ibeju-Lekki Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Bayo Balogun, has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering quality representation and expanding the benefits of democracy to his people in the ninth Assembly.

Speaking yesterday at the Alhaji Lateef Balogun Market in Eleko during the official handover of free shops and empowerment materials to indigent traders in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area, Rep. Balogun said his mission remains firmly tied to the well-being of his constituents.

“In line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I will continue to work hard to further improve the living conditions of our people,” he pledged, stressing that more people-oriented projects will reach every corner of Ibeju-Lekki.

Addressing the large crowd of party supporters and residents, the lawmaker expressed gratitude for his re-election, promising to work tirelessly to ensure that the dividends of democracy reach every household. He also thanked President Tinubu for his trust, describing him as “a phenomenal leader who understands party cohesion and discipline.”

He assured Lagosians, especially the people of Ibeju-Lekki, that the current dispensation will bring tangible benefits to a wider section of society.

The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, represented by Hon. Abdul Kabir Opeyemi Ogungbo, Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Taxation and Revenue Generation, commended Balogun’s foresight in uplifting the less privileged. He lauded the empowerment initiative as a practical step towards improving livelihoods in the community.

The event drew political leaders, community heads, and party chieftains, including Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, Lagos APC Chairman (represented by Hon. Gbenga Balogun), Hon. Wale Raji of Epe Federal Constituency, Hon. Oladele Ajayi of Ibeju-Lekki Constituency II, councillors, market leaders, and socio-cultural groups.

Items distributed included tricycles, deep freezers, double-door fridges, sewing machines, clippers, and assorted artisan tools to help beneficiaries grow their businesses.

In an emotional moment, many beneficiaries voiced heartfelt thanks to Rep. Balogun, hailing his consistent legislative leadership and commitment to grassroots empowerment. Their applause echoed across the market square, sealing the day as a testament to a representative in touch with his people’s needs.
