Staff, Students Lauds Akogun Wale Raji Anomo’s Transformer Donation to Government College, Ketu.

Kakalistiq.com reports that the management staff and students of Government College, Ketu, have lauded the leadership of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Chairman, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, following the delivery of a brand new 200 KVA transformer. The applause came on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024, during a handing-over ceremony held at the school premises.

During the handover, the principals of both the Junior and Senior Schools, represented by the Director of Education and Vice Principal of the Senior School, Mr. Oyerinde A. Lookman, expressed their profound gratitude to Chairman Anomo and his administration.

“The donation of this transformer is a game-changer for us,” remarked Mr. Oyerinde. “It will significantly improve the learning conditions for our students and facilitate smoother administrative functions. We are deeply appreciative of the Chairman’s dedication to making Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA better.”

The new transformer is expected to alleviate the power outage challenges that had previously hindered the school’s operations and academic activities. Students and staff alike shared in the excitement, highlighting the positive impact it would have on their studies, particularly in using technological tools and resources requiring a stable power supply.

According to a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary of the LCDA, Comrade Hameed Areh, the school had earlier communicated its challenges with a faulty transformer to the Chairman, who then promised to address the issue. The fulfilment of this promise underscores Akogun Anomo’s commitment to community development and educational support.

During the official handover, Akogun Anomo emphasized his administration’s dedication to enhancing the educational environment and the overall development of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
