“During this blessed occasion of Eid-el-Kabir, we are reminded by the Holy Quran of the importance of fostering strong community ties. It is through our collective efforts and shared commitment that we can drive meaningful development in our communities,” Dr. Agbaje said.

He pointed out that the teachings of the Quran call for compassion and solidarity, urging people to look beyond their individual needs and work together for the common good. “The principles of love, sacrifice, and mutual support that we commemorate today are the very foundations upon which great communities are built,” he added.

Dr. Agbaje’s address underscored the pressing need for collaboration at all levels of society, particularly in education. He stressed that a united community can significantly enhance the quality of education and ensure that no child is left behind. “When communities come together to support their local schools, we create an environment where children can thrive, thereby securing a brighter future for all.”

The Commissioner also praised the residents of Lagos for their resilience and solidarity in the face of challenges. “Our strength lies in our unity. As we celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, let us renew our commitment to each other and the development of our great state. By standing together, we can overcome any obstacle and achieve remarkable progress.”

Dr. Agbaje concluded with a call to action, encouraging everyone to actively participate in community-building initiatives. “Let us all take part in the journey towards development by contributing our time, resources, and efforts to uplift those around us. Together, we can create a legacy of prosperity and harmony for future generations.
