Rep. Wale Raji Orders Completion of Ayetoro Market in 2 Weeks, Set to Launch Education Infrastructure Projects in Epe.

On Saturday 23rd November, 2024, kakalistiq.com reports that Rep. Wale Raji reinforced his commitment to the development of critical infrastructure in his constituency, directing contractors at the Ayetoro Market to deliver the ongoing project within two weeks.

The lawmaker, who also toured Temu and Pobuna Secondary Schools, assured stakeholders of the commencement of new classroom blocks to enhance educational opportunities for students in the constituency.

During his visit to the Ayetoro Market construction site, Rep. Raji inspected the progress of the facility, which is set to host 400 shops, gated entry points, solar-powered lights, public toilets, and a parking lot.

Addressing the contractors, he emphasized the importance of timely delivery, ensuring that the market would soon empower small and medium-scale enterprises in Epe.

In a subsequent stop at the Ikorodu Garage, the lawmaker met with market stakeholders, including transporters and traders. The group appealed for palliative works to improve the garage premises and the installation of additional solar-powered lights to enable safe trading both day and night.

Assuring the enthusiastic crowd of his intervention, Rep. Raji said, “The safety and welfare of our citizens are non-negotiable hallmarks of effective leadership. As public servants, we must always strive to address the needs of our people.”

The development focus shifted to education as Rep. Raji visited Temu Community School, where he met with school administrators, community stakeholders, and students. He announced the imminent commencement of a 12-classroom storey building project, a development met with widespread excitement. Similarly, at Pobuna Secondary School, he revealed plans for a another storey building of 12-classrooms, promising that construction would begin in the coming week.

Rep. Wale Raji also stopped by at the Epe Police Station, Awolowa Way (Oke-Oyinbo) where the construction of a new prototype building of the Nigerian Police is ongoing. He was warmly received by the Epe DPO, CSP Benjamin Ayeni and other Police Officers.

Stakeholders across the board expressed their appreciation for the lawmaker’s efforts. School administrators, political leaders, market leaders, and youths commended Rep. Raji for his dedication to improving education and supporting local businesses. They also assured him of their continued support, affirming their understanding that nation-building is a shared responsibility between the elected and the electorate.
