LASTVEB Honours Harmony Gardens CEO, Dr. Saheed Mosadoluwa, for Supporting Skills Development in Lagos

Dr. Abdullahi Saheed Mosadoluwa, the Chief Executive Officer of Harmony Gardens and Estate Development, for his remarkable contributions towards promoting technical and vocational education in the state.

The award was presented during the Lagos Youth Skills Day 2025 celebration, held in Ikeja and coordinated by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Technical and Vocational Education, Comrade Giwa Murtala Moore. The event brought together stakeholders, students, and private sector partners to champion the importance of equipping youths with practical skills for a brighter future.

Dr. Mosadoluwa, who is widely known for his success in the real estate sector, was recognised for his consistent efforts in supporting youth empowerment through skills acquisition. Speaking at the event, he shared how he began his journey as a bricklayer and gradually grew into a successful real estate entrepreneur, an experience he often uses to inspire young people to embrace vocational training.

His company, Harmony Gardens, is behind impactful projects like the Lekki Aviation Town Estate, which has continued to set standards in innovation and quality within the industry.

The recognition by LASTVEB highlights the crucial role private sector leaders play in advancing skill-based education. It also reflects the board’s drive to partner with individuals and organizations that are committed to helping youths become self-reliant and economically empowered.

The Executive Secretary of LASTVEB, Mrs. Moronke Azeez, emphasized the importance of such partnerships during the event, noting that technical colleges across the state are seeing increased interest as more parents and youths begin to value skill acquisition as a viable and rewarding path.
