The Lagos East senatorial district Lawmaker, Distinguished Senator Tokunbo Abiru congratulated the newly sworn-in President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu, and his Deputy, Senator Kashim Shettima.
The duo was sworn in earlier today by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola at Eagle Square, Abuja amidst jubilation and fanfare.
According to a statement released by Senator Abiru, the Erudite Banker turned Lawmaker conveyed his congratulatory message on behalf of the good people of Lagos East senatorial district, anticipating a new Nigeria that would be the pride of all under the renewed hope mantra.
“On behalf of the good people of the Lagos East Senatorial District, I heartily congratulate our esteemed leader, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Commander In Chief of the Armed Forces, and his vice, Senator Kashim Shetimma on the swearing-in as the 16th Nigerian President and Vice-President respectively.
“Asiwaju, I am optimistic that our dear nation Nigeria will experience a new dawn under your watch. Nigerians will once again walk with their heads high as you and your team get to work in your quest to deliver on the renewed hope mandate,” the statement read.
In the same vein, the DoingGood Senator also extended his felicitations to the Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Governor Babajide Sanwoolu, his Deputy, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, and other Governors who were inaugurated across the nation. He expressed optimism over their leadership capabilities to engender economic prosperity in their various states.
