In a remarkable display of appreciation for the unwavering dedication and commitment of party loyalists, kakalistiq.com reports that the entire Eredo LCDA landscape of Epe Constituency II was electrified on Sunday, March 10th, 2024, as Hon. Lanre Odubote Hall, Mojoda, Epe, hosted thousands of beneficiaries for a food palliative initiative orchestrated by their lawmaker, Hon. Dahunsi Ogunkelu (Sketel).
Dubbed “Foodstuffs and Cash Support for Party Loyalists,” the second edition of the initiative achieved its objectives as over 1,000 party supporters, voters, canvassers, and various groups were bestowed with a 10kg bag of rice and a cash support of 5,000 naira each.
The event saw the esteemed presence of distinguished political figures, including the newly appointed Vice-Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Yeye Olufunke Olusanya; Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Chairman, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo; Eredo LCDA SLG, Hon. Azeez Kayode Saibu; Eredo LCDA Party Chairman, Hon. Mahmud Agbaraojo, and Eredo LCDA Women Leader, Princess Olaitan Olayemi Olayemi, among others.
In his address, Hon. Ogunkelu hailed the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwoolu, and the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, for their proactive approach to cushioning the effects of economic hardship. He assured party loyalists of the trio’s steadfast commitment to improving their welfare.
Hon. Ogunkelu underscored the significance of the initiative, emphasizing its role in meeting the needs of party members and rewarding their unwavering loyalty. He reassured party loyalists of the continuity of such exercises beyond Ramadan, urging patience from those yet to benefit.
During his address, Eredo LCDA Party Chairman, Hon. Mahmud Agbaraojo, said, “I commend Hon. Ogunkelu for his visionary leadership in implementing the reward mechanism for party loyalists. This initiative not only fosters unity and solidarity but also strengthens the bond between the party and its members, ensuring a brighter future for our LCDA.”
On her part, Yeye Olufunke Olusanya applauded the unwavering support for party loyalists, saying, “By standing firmly beside them through initiatives like this food and cash palliative, he demonstrates true leadership and solidarity, inspiring confidence and trust among our political family.”
Also, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Chairman, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo recognized the importance of supporting party loyalists during these challenging times, saying, “Despite economic hardships, our loyalists continue to stand by our party, and initiatives like this reinforce their hope and dedication. Together, we will overcome obstacles and build a stronger, more resilient political family.”
