On Sunday, August 4, 2024, kakalistiq.comhttp://kakalistiq.com reports that history and celebration intertwined as dignitaries, royal fathers, and well-wishers gathered in Eredo LCDA to honor the platinum jubilee of Prince Olaide Odumosu.

It was a day filled with joy, gratitude, and tributes as the entire executive and legislative leadership of Eredo LCDA, led by Hon. Ismail Akinloye, came together to celebrate the remarkable life of a man whose legacy has touched many.

With the celebration witnessing a thanksgiving service earlier in the church service, Rep. Wale Raji, representing Epe Federal Constituency, set the tone of the reception with heartfelt acknowledgments.

“Today, we honor a man who has sown seeds of kindness and dedication that will be remembered for generations,” Raji remarked, recognizing the presence of Royal fathers, the Chairman of Eredo LCDA, and other political leaders. He reflected on the celebrant’s father, Late Chief Odumosu’s enduring impact on the community, praising his steadfast support of Eredo LCDA’s growth.

Turning to the celebrant, Raji added, “Chief Odumosu, it’s good to be good. Your father’s legacy lives on, not just in the community but also through your daughter, who now serves as the First Lady of this LCDA. May your future be filled with more blessings, good health, and prosperity.”

The celebratory mood continued as HRM Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja, Aladeshonyin and Paramount Ruler of Odo-Noforija Kingdom, took the stage. His words were filled with nostalgia and deep appreciation for a friendship that spanned decades.

“About thirty years ago, when the issue of choosing a king arose, Mr. Odumosu stood by me. He fought for my interests even before I stepped into town, and I’m grateful that I have not let him down,” the royal father recalled with pride.

Reflecting on Odumosu’s life and achievements, Oba Ogunlaja expressed hope for his friend’s future. “You are reaping the fruits of your labor, and by God’s grace, your children will continue to make you proud. Keep up the good work, Prince Odumosu; your character is a treasure that will never be spoiled.”

In a heartfelt addition, the Baale of Odogbonle Kingdom, Alhaji SA Shaanu, expressed gratitude to the attendees and praised the celebrant’s compassionate spirit. “Prince Odumosu’s life is a testament to kindness and humility,” he said, wishing him a future filled with continued blessings and good health.

The event also featured personal reflections from Mrs. Oyinloluwa Akinloye, Chairperson of Eredo LCDA and daughter of the celebrant. In an emotional interview, she credited her father for the invaluable life lessons and unwavering support that shaped her journey. “My father has been a guiding light, teaching us to navigate life’s challenges with grace and resilience,” she shared, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming love shown by those present.

As the celebration drew to a close, Rep. Wale Raji led a toast to Prince Odumosu’s longevity, surrounded by royal fathers and distinguished guests. “Today, we celebrate 70 years of a life well-lived, and by God’s grace, this will not be the last of such celebrations,” Raji declared, raising his glass to the future.

The event attended by esteemed dignitaries including Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu, Hon. Fatai Ayoola, Hon. Sabiu Omolaja and revered Royal fathers such as Oba Adeshina Adebowale, Oba Musliudeen Olowo, Oba Fatai Adelani was more than a birthday celebration—it was a tribute to a legacy of service, friendship, and unwavering faith.

As the music played and the guests cheered, one message resonated: in honoring Prince Olaide Odumosu, they were also celebrating the values of community, kindness, and the enduring power of a good heart.
