“A Reward for Dedication and Service,” Osinaike Says as Sanwoolu Appoints Two New TG/PS.

The Supervising Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary of Education District II, Mr. Olusegun Osinaike, has congratulated Mr. Paseda Olufemi Bamidele and Mrs. Sanni Omotayo Layemo on their recent appointments as Tutor-Generals/Permanent Secretaries in Lagos State.

Describing the appointments as “a reward for dedication and service” in an interview, Mr. Osinaike praised the duo as “change agents” who will help drive educational development and transformation in the state.

“This is a well-deserved appointment, and I am confident that they will bring freshness to the sector,” he said.

The appointments were announced in a circular signed by the Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, dated September 23, 2025 (Ref No. CIR/HOS/’25/Vol.I/069). According to the document, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu approved the new appointments to “reinvigorate the State’s policy implementation apparatus” and improve public service delivery.

The newly appointed permanent secretaries are:

1. Dr. Olufemi Motunolani Omololu – Chief Medical Officer, Health Service Commission (Island Maternity)

2. Mrs. Omotayo Layemo Sanni – Principal/Director, Education District IV

3. Mrs. Monsurat Titilope Alaka – Director, Finance & Accounts, LASUTH

4. Mr. Muhammed Tijani Babatunde Onigbanjo – Director, Admin. & HR, Office of the Chief of Staff

5. Mr. Olutokunbo Olayode Oyenuga – Director, Civil Engineering, Office of Infrastructure

6. Mr. Rafiu Olawale Ojikutu – Director, Admin. & HR, Motor Vehicle Administration Agency

7. Mr. Olufemi Bamidele Paseda – Principal/Director, Education District III

8. Mrs. Oluwakemi Amudat Adedeji – Director, Admin. & HR, Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget

9. Dr. Adesola Ayodele Pitan – Chief Medical Officer, Health Service Commission.

The positive reaction of Mr. Osinaike to the elevation of his colleagues highlights the essence of Mr. Governor’s strategic approach to actualize the THEMES Plus agenda through the appointment of best hands in service to elevate the standard of education in Lagos’ Post-Primary education sector.
