As election season heats up in Eredo LCDA, Kakalistiq.com reports that Comrade Adekunle Adeyeye (Mallam) has boldly endorsed the re-election bid of Hon. Ismail Akinloye, the current chairman of Eredo LCDA. Speaking as the Advocate Alliance for Good Governance convener, Adeyeye has put his support behind Akinloye, citing an impressive track record that he believes is worthy of another term.
“There is excitement in the air, fellow compatriots,” Adeyeye declared in an exclusive interview. “Many are showering praise on him for his outstanding leadership. The question is, is Akin okay for Eredo’s growth, speedy development, and economic transformation? As a democrat and social rights crusader, I have critically examined his leadership, and the facts speak for themselves.”
Adeyeye, Lecturer in the Educational Management Department of Lagos State University of Education, Noforija-Epe campus highlighted Akinloye’s achievements in youth engagement, emphasizing initiatives that have steered local youths away from crime and towards productive ventures. “Under his leadership, Eredo’s youth have been engaged through tech training, skill acquisition programs, and a renewed focus on sports and games,” he noted. “This is not just about development; it is about giving our youth a future.”
On education and social support, Adeyeye pointed to several impactful projects, including the construction of perimeter fences at UPE Primary School, Imokun, and St John’s RCM Primary School, Odomola, the donation of generators to local schools, and enhanced security for national examinations. “These efforts show his dedication to nurturing a safe and conducive learning environment,” Adeyeye added.
Addressing food security and poverty alleviation issues, Adeyeye commended Akinloye’s proactive approach. “His administration has distributed palliative raw food to residents and launched a ₦200 million relief program benefiting 20,000 residents. Such actions are not just responsive but reflective of a leader who genuinely cares about the well-being of his people,” he asserted.
The health and environment sector has also seen substantial progress under Akinloye’s administration, according to Adeyeye. “From providing generators to health centres and renovating nurse quarters to constructing critical drainage systems, his administration has taken significant steps to ensure the health and safety of Eredo’s residents,” he said.
“It is gratifying to note that for the sustainability of these programs, we need a leader with a robust pedigree—a seasoned human resources manager, an educational administrator, and a compassionate family man,” Adeyeye continued. “Res ipsa loquitur—the fact speaks for itself.”
Adeyeye praised Akinloye as a grassroots mobilizer with the charisma, transparency, and political acumen needed to harness Eredo’s resources for the benefit of all, irrespective of ethnic, religious, or social backgrounds. “He has a robust vision for the innovative transformation of our council, making it an investment centre, tourism attraction, and skills empowerment hub,” he emphasized.
