Anomo’s Educational Drive Soars, Honors Community Sage, Commissions Classroom Amidst Learning Packs Distribution.

In a remarkable demonstration of dedication to educational advancement and community welfare, reports that Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, the Executive Chairman of the Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, has once again showcased his unwavering commitment to transformative leadership. The chairman, amid accolades, immortalized Chief Dehinsilu Olufemi, a community treasure of wisdom, while commissioning a block of three classrooms at LG Central Primary School, Agbowa-Ikosi, equipped with modern facilities and distributing learning materials to over 500 pupils.

The commissioning ceremony, held on Friday, March 8, 2024, was graced by dignitaries, including Dr. Hakeem Babatunde Shittu, Chairman of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB), who officially inaugurated the classrooms. The event underscored Akogun Wale Anomo’s relentless pursuit of excellence in the education sector and his commitment to uplifting the standard of learning within the LCDA.

The newly constructed classrooms, adorned with marker boards and furnished with modern desks and chairs for both teachers and pupils, signify a significant upgrade in infrastructure. Noteworthy additions include a security post, the reconstruction of a perimeter fence, and the provision of essential utilities such as a generating set and a pumping machine, ensuring a conducive learning environment.

In addition to the infrastructure enhancements, Akogun Wale Anomo distributed the Ikosi-Ejinrin Complete School pack to each pupil, comprising essential learning materials such as exercise books, writing implements, and educational aids. Pupils in higher classes received additional items like dictionaries and mathematical sets, preparing them for the transition to secondary education.

During his address, Akogun Wale Anomo announced that the newly constructed block of classrooms was dedicated to Chief Dehinsilu Olufemi, recognizing his invaluable contributions to the development of the LCDA and the wider Epe Division.
