APC Reschedules Mega Rally in Ibeju-Lekki and Lekki LCDA to July 3.

In a strategic move aimed at ensuring wider participation and better coordination, kakalistiq.com reports that Yeye Olayinka Olusanya, Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos East Senatorial District, has announced a new date for the much-anticipated APC Mega Rally originally billed for Sunday, June 29, 2025.

In a statement signed and made available today, Hon. Olusanya confirmed that the joint rally for Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and Lekki Local Council Development Area has been rescheduled to hold on Thursday, July 3, 2025, by 10:00 AM at Iberekodo Primary School, Ibeju-Lekki.

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause. It was a difficult but necessary adjustment,” she noted, while expressing appreciation for the understanding and continued support of party faithful and residents across the two councils.

The rally, which serves as a significant mobilization effort ahead of the forthcoming Local Government Elections in Lagos State, is expected to draw an enthusiastic crowd of APC members, youth and student groups, artisans, market women, transport unions, as well as religious, traditional, and community leaders.

According to the statement, the rally will provide an opportunity for constituents to: hear directly from party leaders and candidates, demonstrate solidarity with the APC’s vision and celebrate the shared progress achieved and the promise of continuity.

“As a party, we believe in inclusive governance and the power of collective resolve,” Hon. Olusanya stated. “This rally is more than a political event, it is a reaffirmation of our commitment to grassroots development, responsive leadership, and the legacy of progress that defines Ibeju-Lekki and Lekki LCDA.”
