Education District IV: Osinaike Bows Out Gracefully, Welcomes Paseda with Warm Words and Wise Counsel.

In a heartfelt ceremony marked by warmth, camaraderie, and a deep sense of continuity, the outgoing Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary (TG/PS) of Education District IV, Mr. Olusegun Osinaike, formally handed over the reins of leadership to his successor, Mr. Olufemi Bamidele Paseda, recently appointed by the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

Among dignitaries present were Dr. Olufunke Oyetola (TG/PS, Education District I), Mr. Abiodun Hassan (TG/PS, Education District V), Mrs. Anike Adekanye (retired TG/PS, Education District II), as well as representatives from ANCOPSS (Districts III and IV), the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), and the District IV Parents’ Forum.

The event, held at the District Conference Room, drew principals, education officers, dignitaries, and stakeholders who gathered to witness the symbolic leadership transition and express their readiness to support the new administration.

The appointment of Mr. Paseda was widely lauded as a testament to Governor Sanwo-Olu’s unwavering commitment to excellence and meritocracy in the public service. It was received with great joy and commendation by the management, staff, and stakeholders of the district.

In an emotional farewell, Mr. Osinaike paid tribute to the governor’s visionary leadership, stating:
“To our incoming TG/PS, I say a warm welcome. Education District IV is blessed with hardworking staff, committed principals, and vibrant students who are always eager to excel. I do not doubt that with your experience, passion, and dedication, you will take the district to even greater heights.”

Reflecting on his tenure, he described his time in office as one filled with “teamwork, innovation, and shared commitment” that shaped the district’s many successes. He urged staff and stakeholders to extend their full cooperation and support to Mr. Paseda to ensure sustained progress, while wishing him a “successful and impactful tenure.”
