Ejinrin Kingdom Stood Still for Miss Oreke 2024 as Beauty, Intellect Trails Miss Oluwatosin Tanimowo Ascension.

In a dazzling showcase of elegance, creativity, and intellect, Kakalistiq.com reports that the Ejinrin Youth Organization (EYO) marked a historic seventh-year organization of the trademark Miss Oreke Beauty Contest, culminating in the coronation of the radiant Miss Oluwatosin Tanimowo as the reigning queen for 2024.

On January 2, 2024, the event witnessed an unprecedented surge in attendance, with the Ejinrin Kingdom now recognized as a hub for artistic expression, intellectual battles, and a blend of sophistication and elegance.

During his address, the Chairman of the Ejinrin Youth Organization, Prince Adémólá Adétólá, expressed his joy at the growing reputation of the Ejinrin Kingdom as a vibrant community. He extended heartfelt gratitude to key figures who played pivotal roles in the success of the event. Notable mentions included His Royal Majesty Oba Rafiu Ishola Babatunde Balogun, the Elejinrin Council of Chiefs, Chief Dr. Ismael Bola Akindele, Dr. Mrs. Olabisi Akindele, and Grand Patron Oluomo Segun Olulade for their unwavering support and financial contributions.


The Chairman also acknowledged the support of mentor Dr. Hakeem Shittu, legal adviser Dr. Femi Babs Akintola, Hon. Adebayo Abiodun, and distinguished Comrade Joseph Evah II, highlighting their crucial contributions to the success of the event.

A cascade of gratitude was directed towards various supporters, including Elder Sangosanya, Yeye Olulade Fowora Mosunmola, Suave Records, Chief Torulolo Love, Occupy Progressives, and many others who generously contributed to the event’s triumph.

Prominent figures like Oluomo Segun Olulade, a former lawmaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Epe Constituency II, took the stage to share valuable insights with the attending youth. Olulade passionately appealed to the young generation, urging them to steer clear of social vices detrimental to their growth and prosperity. Emphasizing the importance of steadfastness in their endeavors, he encouraged them to add value to themselves, promising unwavering support for youths across the division to excel in politics.

Dr. Bisi Akindele, also addressing the youth, emphasized the significance of respecting the age-old traditions of the Ejinrin Kingdom. As a renowned community with deep-rooted moral, religious, cultural, and academic values, she urged the youth to be more serious about life, reminding them that success has no shortcuts and no latecomers.

Sharing his experiences, Dr. Hakeem Shittu, the Chairman of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB), expressed discomfort with the perceived difference in the level of seriousness between female and male students. Dr. Shittu stressed the need for developing programs that equally highlight the talents of both genders. Calling for a harmonious relationship between the sons and daughters of the community, he emphasized the importance of unity to attract development for the benefit of the people.

The event climaxed with the unveiling of the new queen after a keenly contested contest adjudged by Prince Adebowale Michael and Mr. Peter Oluwo, amongst others, sending the enthusiastic crowd into a frenzy of jubilation.
