Former Governor Ambode Pays Heartfelt Tribute to Alhaja Ramota Bankole.

In a solemn and emotional visit, reports that former Lagos State Governor, His Excellency, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Alhaja Ramota Bankole. The visit, which took place on June 25, 2024, brought together close political associates to offer support to the bereaved family during this trying time.

With a deep sense of grief, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode represented by her wife and former Lagos State First Lady, Her Excellency Mrs Bolanle Ambode, and his political associates expressed their sympathies. Mrs. Ambode, leading the delegation, conveyed the profound sorrow felt by all who knew Alhaja Ramota Bankole, who passed away on June 20, 2024, while on a Holy Pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.

“Death is a permanent cessation of all humans,” Mrs. Ambode remarked, “yet it is our prayer that God Almighty grants the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.” She acknowledged the deep impact of Alhaja’s passing on the Lagos State community, particularly in Epe, where she was known for her humility and prosperous life.

“Alhaja’s death is an awful blow to all of us in Lagos State, particularly in Epe,” Mrs. Ambode said, emphasizing the collective mourning of the community. “The deceased lived a very humble and prosperous life.”

The visit concluded with a prayer for the departed soul, as Mrs. Ambode and the assembled guests hoped for Alhaja Ramota Bankole to rest in the bosom of the Almighty. “We pray that she rests in the bosom of the Almighty, Amen,” Mrs Ambode stated, encapsulating the shared grief and hope for divine solace for the family and friends left behind.
