In a show of solidarity, kakalistiq.com reports that the United Community Development Association (CDA) of Iraye-Oke, the most populous and rapidly growing community in Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has declared its full support for the reelection of Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye as Chairman of Eredo LCDA.
The announcement came during a strategic meeting held over the weekend between the CDA leadership and key officials of the Akinloye-led administration.
Led by Mr. Lookman Bello, the United CDA, comprising 23 CDAs, praised Akinloye’s administration for its remarkable achievements in infrastructure, education, and community-driven projects, which have significantly uplifted the standard of living across Eredo LCDA. The group emphasized that their support is rooted in the tangible progress witnessed under Akinloye’s leadership.
However, the CDA also highlighted pressing challenges facing Iraye-Oke, particularly the persistent electricity issues that have plagued the community. They called for urgent intervention to address the problem, which has hindered development and affected residents’ quality of life.
In response, Mr. Sikiru Oladega, Chief of Staff to the Chairman, commended the community for their unwavering commitment to the growth of Eredo LCDA. He assured them that their concerns had been noted and announced plans to establish a committee tasked with finding lasting solutions to the electricity challenges in Iraye-Oke.
