Lagos PS Applauds LEYOSA’s Role in Epe’s Growth, Calls for Tech-Driven Development.

In a landmark event on Saturday, March 8, 2025, kakalistiq.com reports that the League of Epe Division Youth and Students’ Association (LEYOSA) hosted its 3rd annual conference, bringing together esteemed stakeholders to discuss the transformative role of technology in driving economic growth and fostering unity in Epe.

The Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Chief of Staff, Lagos State, Mr. Kadri Semiu led the discussions, commending LEYOSA for its towering commitment to youth empowerment and community development.

Mr. Kadri, visibly impressed by the association’s efforts, praised LEYOSA for its consistency in organizing the annual conference, which has become a beacon of hope for Epe’s youth.

“Over the past three years, this association has made commendable strides in promoting youth empowerment, education, and community development. Your dedication to progress is truly admirable and has laid a strong foundation for future generations to thrive,” he said.

The event also highlighted the profound impact of technology on economic growth. Mr. Kadri emphasized how advancements like artificial intelligence (AI) and automation have revolutionized industries, boosted productivity, and created new markets.

“Technology has expanded global connectivity, facilitated e-commerce, and enhanced access to information and resources, driving economic growth in unprecedented ways,” he noted.

Earlier, the Guest Lecturer, Dr. Akinrinola Fatimah, urged the Epe Local Government to prioritize the provision of community WiFi and other internet facilities to empower youths and students. Her call resonated with attendees, who recognized the critical role of digital access in education and economic opportunities.

Adding their voices to the discourse, Hon. Ladele Ibrahim, Senior Special Assistant to the Epe Local Government Chairman on Special Duties and Wealth Creation, and Comrade Adetola, Youth Coordinator of Ikosi-Ejinrin, encouraged Epe youths to remain focused and seize the opportunities presented by technology. LEYOSA’s Director-General, Amb. Kadri Adedolapo Morgan, echoed this sentiment, urging young people to stay committed to personal and community development.

The conference not only celebrated LEYOSA’s achievements but also set a roadmap for leveraging technology to unlock Epe’s potential. With calls for greater investment in digital infrastructure and youth empowerment, the event marked a significant step toward a brighter, more connected future for the Epe community.
