In a heartfelt note of gratitude, Kaklistiq.com reports that Mr. Salami Idris Adebanjo, the Secretary of the Noforija Central Mosque, expressed immense appreciation to donors for their generous contributions towards the completion of the decking phase of the Ultra-Modern Central Mosque of Odo-Noforija.

Mr. Adebanjo, in an interview, highlighted the pivotal role played by Alhaji Abd Jelili Animashaun, the Chairman/CEO of Alhujaj International Hajj and Umrah Services, who not only donated generously but also supervised the project diligently. “Alhaji Abd Jelili Animashaun’s dedication and commitment have been exemplary. His support has been instrumental in reaching this significant milestone.”

“We are deeply grateful to HRM Oba B. O. Ogunlaja, the Aladeshonyín of Odo-Noforija kingdom, and HRM Oba Kazeem Adesina Salami, the Osobia of Makun-Omi kingdom, for their unwavering support and facilitation of our sponsors’ contributions,” he added.

Acknowledging the collective effort of all donors, Mr. Adebanjo extended special thanks to Rt Hon. Sabit Ikuforiji, the former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, and other individuals who have contributed financially, physically, and spiritually to the project.

“On behalf of the entire Noforija Muslim Community and the Central Mosque Management Committee, I express our deepest gratitude to all donors. Your contributions have brought us closer to realizing our vision of a modern and vibrant mosque,” Mr. Adebanjo remarked.

While celebrating the completion of the decking phase, Mr. Adebanjo emphasized the need for continued support to complete the ultra-modern mosque. “We urge everyone to join us in this rewarding process by contributing towards the completion of the mosque. As Alhaji Abd Jelili Animashaun rightly said, each donation brings us closer to earning rewards from Allah,” he urged.

He recalled that the mosque’s foundation commenced in May 2023, with the official foundation laying ceremony held on August 15, 2023, stressing that donations can be made to the following account:

  • Account Name: NOFORIJA CENTRAL MOSQUE
  • Account Number: 2031198877
  • Bank: First Bank

Mr. Adebanjo expressed optimism for the future and prayed for the continued blessings and prosperity of all donors and supporters. “May Allah reward your generosity abundantly and grant us the opportunity to witness the commissioning of the completed mosque,” he concluded.
