Speaking at Ikosi, Rep. Raji emphasized that governance is not limited to the executive arm and that the welfare and security of the people are priorities for his leadership. “As long as I remain your representative, I’ll never disappoint you,” he stated. Raji assured constituents of more developmental projects, citing their support at the polls as the driving force behind his commitment.

Rep. Raji outlined ongoing projects, including a stadium, a skill acquisition center, and the upcoming Mowowale Market, which will begin in the next month in honor of Baba Dehinsilu. “In Ejinrin, a 700-seater town hall is ongoing. At Lofi Ogunmude, there’s a block of six classrooms. A block of 12 classrooms has been delivered for the junior school, and the primary school project at Temu will commence once current challenges are resolved,” he added.

HRM Oba Adewale Abdul, the Olofin Ajaiye of Orugbo-Iddo, expressed gratitude for Rep. Raji’s efforts. “You’ve done more than enough. You gave us ‘Owo Arugbo’ for our elders and provided Teachers’ Quarters when I became a monarch five years ago. Now, with the Magistrate Court, you’ve come to our aid once again,” he said. The monarch also requested road projects in Orugbo similar to those in Agbowa, highlighting his community’s aspirations.

Rep. Raji, in response, directed local leaders to collaborate with the monarch to address these requests. The lawmaker toured the proposed market site and the dilapidated jetty, assuring that Ikosi will soon receive a new jetty, a market, solar-powered borehole, and a public toilet.

Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Chairman, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, praised Rep. Raji’s dedication, describing him as “the definition of a true leader and legislator.” He urged the constituents to continue supporting the legislator’s initiatives, emphasizing the importance of unity and collective effort in achieving their development goals.

The engagement tour also included inspections of other ongoing projects, drawing notable local leaders, including Otunba Nuru, Hon. Segun Adesegun, Hon. Shittu Wittu (Segun 3), Hon. Olabo Seriki (Chair of Chair, Lagos APC Ward Chairmen), and Mr. Hasan Bashir (SLA General Administration), who joined in commending Rep. Raji’s commitment to his constituency.
