Wale Raji, representing Epe Federal Constituency, in a significant boost to the block of classrooms he facilitated, has handed over a much-needed public toilet facility to Army Children Junior High School, Epe, Lagos State. This initiative supports the lawmaker’s drive to enhance educational development, addressing a critical need identified by both students and school management.
At the handover event on Thursday, May 17, 2024, the ceremony was led by Mrs. Olayinka Olusanya, Lagos East Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, who represented Rep. Wale Raji.
In her address, Mrs. Olusanya highlighted the lawmaker’s dedication and compassion, noting, “It is not an error that the constituency has chosen him to serve. He has in him a spirit of human kindness.”
Mrs. Olusanya praised Rep. Raji’s leadership as being perfectly suited to his role, resulting in outstanding achievements. She emphasized his attentiveness and commitment to the community’s needs, stating, “It is a rare privilege to have lawmakers like Rep. Wale Raji. Seeing another building facilitated by him in this same school is fantastic.”
Reflecting on a recent groundbreaking ceremony for a school classroom block in the Igbooye community, Mrs. Olusanya underscored Rep. Raji’s ongoing investment in education. “Rep. Wale Raji’s interest and investment in education is an investment in the future of young ones, and they won’t forget it. I was here with him at Army Children Junior High School to commission blocks of classrooms he donated recently, and I am happy to be here again to unveil this public toilet facility to complement what is already on the ground.”
The staff and students expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the new facilities, emphasizing the crucial role of working toilet facilities in enhancing the learning environment.
