Wale Raji, hosted the 16 Local Government Area (LGA) Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Lagos East Senatorial District at his residence on Sunday, January 6, 2025, in a meeting aimed at strengthening party unity and fostering development.
Describing the gathering as a “great honor,” Rep. Raji commended the grassroots leaders for their resilience and dedication to sustaining the APC’s dominance across their communities despite challenges. “Your steadfast commitment has not only advanced our party’s agenda but has also positively impacted lives through the federal government’s Renewed Hope agenda and Lagos State’s THEMESplus initiatives under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu,” Raji stated.
During the meeting, the lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to delivering impactful governance in Epe Federal Constituency and Lagos State through his Personal Intervention Projects (PIPs) and legislative leadership. Highlighting his achievements, he said, “We’ve made significant progress in education, road infrastructure, healthcare, youth empowerment, and economic development. The revitalization of heritage markets, in particular, has bolstered local economies and preserved our cultural identity.”
The LGA Chairmen lauded Rep. Raji’s developmental efforts, describing him as a role model for political office holders. “His leadership has accelerated community development and ensured that the dividends of democracy are felt by all,” one of the Chairmen remarked. They also deliberated on strategies to further strengthen the APC’s influence in the district.
As part of the visit, Rep. Raji led the delegation to the residence of Alhaji Akanni Seriki Bamu, a senior APC leader and member of the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC). Alhaji Seriki praised the collaboration between the lawmaker and grassroots leaders, urging them to remain united in advancing the party’s vision. “This kind of synergy is what drives progress and ensures sustainable development,” he said.
