kakalistiq.com reports that the 5th Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Olufolarin Ogunsanwo, Telade IV, the 55th Alara of Ilara Kingdom, has drawn heartfelt tributes, with Rep. Wale Raji (MHR), Member representing Epe Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Livestock Development, describing the monarch’s reign as “a turning point in the history of Ilara Kingdom.”

In a statement, Rep. Raji congratulated the revered monarch, saying, “With a heart full of admiration and warm regards, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Majesty on this special occasion of your 5th Coronation Anniversary.”
Reflecting on the impact of the monarch’s leadership, the lawmaker praised the Alara for steering the kingdom into a new era of growth. “In just five years, your reign has brought about a wave of transformation across social programs, healthcare, education, security, and cultural pride,” Raji said.
He noted that Oba Ogunsanwo’s leadership transcends the borders of Ilara. “More than just a custodian of tradition, Your Majesty has become a unifying figure and an inspiring symbol of leadership, grace, and humility. Cloaked in dignity and ruling with wisdom, you have uplifted your kingdom and raised the profile of Epe Division and Lagos State at the national level,” he added.
Rep. Raji also commended the monarch’s role at the national stage as the Southwest Co-Coordinator of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, stressing that “your voice continues to resonate with courage and clarity in matters that affect our people.”

On his collaboration with the royal father, Raji highlighted several developmental projects facilitated in Eredo LCDA during Oba Ogunsanwo’s reign. “Since your ascension, my office has enjoyed a very warm relationship with you and other royal fathers. This has led to the citing of impactful projects such as the construction of two blocks of six classrooms at Adesowon Secondary School, Ilara; the establishment of a skill acquisition center later transferred to the School of Alternative Medicine; the construction of Odoshiwola Road; and the building of Mojoda Market with 120 stalls allocated to traders at no cost to boost the local economy,” he stated.
Concluding his statement, the lawmaker prayed for the monarch’s continued success on the throne. “Kabiyesi, your reign has been nothing short of inspiring. May your days on the throne be long, peaceful, and filled with greater milestones,” he said.
