kakalistiq.com reports that the Member representing Epe Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Wale Raji, in a bold reaffirmation of his dedication to grassroots development and youth empowerment, has reassured constituents of his commitment to adequately prepare school children for leadership. He spoke in Epe yesterday in a media chat during the commissioning of 18 fully furnished classrooms across two primary schools in the constituency.

Rep. Raji described education as the most powerful tool for empowerment, stressing its irreplaceable role in shaping a better future.
“It’s the best form of empowerment. We’re preparing them for future challenges. We said they are the leaders of tomorrow; we must prepare them today. We must equip them intellectually and morally to become good leaders tomorrow,” he said.
The lawmaker explained that the latest additions bring the total number of classrooms facilitated under his leadership to nearly 160, all fully equipped with furniture and, in many cases, modern toilet facilities.
“The whole essence is to bring education closer to our people, get them better educated to be able to face the challenges of the future,” he said.
Raji also emphasized that his education-focused projects are not limited to primary schools, noting the importance of continued learning across all levels.
“Learning is a lifelong process; we’ll continue to learn from cradle to grave. Facilities that will make that possible are of interest to us,” he added.
Calling on constituents to actively support and engage with his initiatives, Raji left a heartfelt appeal:
“Make the best use of us so that we will be encouraged to do more.”
The classrooms, six at Ansar-Ud-Deen Primary School and twelve at Anglican Primary School, Ebute Afuye, were officially commissioned by community development champions, the Oloja of Epe Land, HRM Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun; the Olu-Epe of Epe Kingdom, HRM Oba Dr. Shefiu Adewale; and Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC) Member, Alhaji Akanni Seriki Bamu.
The newly commissioned blocks represent not just physical infrastructure, but a deeper investment in the intellectual and moral fabric of Epe’s future generation, an effort that traditional and political leaders at the event described as visionary and historic.
