“The People Have Spoken Loud and Clear” – Prince Ogunlari Applauds Epe, Eredo & Ikosi-Ejinrin Chairmen’s Re-election.

The streets of Epe are buzzing with excitement following the landslide re-election victories of three local council chairmen, a result that Prince Adeyemi Ogunlari says proves “the people’s mandate always prevails when leaders deliver.”

In a statement,  Prince Ogunlari celebrated what he called “a vote for continuity” as Hon. Princess Surah Animashaun (Epe LGA), Hon. Ismail Monsuru (Eredo LCDA), and Hon. Wale Raji Anomo (Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA) all secured second terms by overwhelming margins.

“This isn’t just politics as usual,” Ogunlari emphasized. “When communities re-elect their leaders with such enthusiasm, it means they’ve seen real work on the ground. These victories are the people’s way of saying ‘more of this good work.”

The statement highlighted each chairman’s unique strengths: Princess Animashaun’s “deep roots” in Epe’s development;
Hon. Monsuru’s hands-on approach in Eredo that turned skeptics into believers and
Hon. Anomo’s reputation in Ikosi-Ejinrin as “the chairman who remembers every community.”

Quoting local proverbs throughout, the message carried the warmth of a village elder celebrating his children’s success. “A river that forgets its source will dry up,” Ogunlari reminded the chairmen, urging them to stay connected to grassroots needs.

As the chairmen prepare for their new terms, Prince Ogunlari left them with a final charge: “A good leader lights the way for the whole village. Now the real work begins, turning this renewed trust into even greater achievements for our people.”

With celebrations still ongoing across communities, one thing is clear, in Epe politics, performance still wins elections.
