Eredo LCDA Chairman Hails Tinubu’s Economic Reforms at School Commissioning, Backs Second Term.

The Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Akinloye, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for tripling local government allocations through the Renewed Hope Agenda, saying the economic reforms have transformed grassroots development.

The event featured the presence of notable party stalwarts, Eredo LCDA management team, state officials and community leaders including the Aladepekun of Odo-Egiri Kingdom, HRM. Oba Musiliu Oliwo; Eredo LCDA Party Chairman, Hon. Mahmud Agbaraojo; Epe Local Government Education Authority (LGEA) Education Secretary, Hon. Idowu Shittu (SAICO) and representative of Education District III TG/PS, Mr. Kehinde Olaonipekun.

Speaking during a media interview at Odomola Secondary School on Wednesday, Akinloye said, “We acknowledge the economic reforms of Mr. President, come 2024 he will return for his second term. We have commissioned three schools today and donated exercise books to all primary school pupils, and it’s possible with his efforts especially with the double and triple allocation given to us by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

Akinloye emphasized the impact of free learning materials on parents: “We’ve been giving a lot of succor to the parents. Giving writing materials to the parents in Eredo is a relief. Asiwaju being the President is a blessing to Nigeria, a blessing to us in Lagos, a blessing to us in Epe and a blessing to us in Eredo.”

He urged residents to continue supporting the President: “Let us look forward and believe in the Renewed Hope Agenda. The only way to give back to him is to troop out en masse and cast our vote for him for another term. The reward for good work is more work, Asiwaju isn’t tired, he wants to come back, let us give him the chance for the benefit of all.”

Reflecting on the event held at his alma mater, Akinloye said, “It gives me joy and honour to stand here today in my alma mater, a place that shaped my foundation, value and journey in life. Today is not just about commissioning a block of classrooms but a celebration of giving back to the institution that gave so much to us.”

He stressed the importance of a conducive learning environment: “These classrooms are therefore not just a building, but an investment in the future. With these classrooms, we are reducing overcrowding, improving access and restoring dignity to the teaching and learning process.”
