In a vibrant celebration of unity and growth, Kakalistiq.com reports that Engineer Rasheed Shabi, President of Epe Club and the lawmaker representing Lagos Mainland Constituency II, led the induction of new members and honoured deserving leadership mavericks during the club’s Annual General Meeting and Public Lecture on Saturday, May 8, 2024.
Speaking at the Club House in Epe, Shabi warmly acknowledged the presence of dignitaries and guests who had travelled far to attend the event. The event featured goodwill messages from notable figures, including the Royal Father of the Day, the Abowa of Agbowa, HRM Oba Barr. Owolabi Momson; Chairman of the Day, Hon. Dr Tola Kasali, represented by Hon. Prince Bayo Balogun; Father of the Day and Chairman BOT Epe Club, Otunba Bola Odebiyi; Mother of the Day, Olori Mulikat Adewale; and Epe Ogunmodede Club President, Barrister Omodele Ibrahim.
The celebration reached its climax with musical performances by Queen Salawa Abeni and the presentation of awards to distinguished sons of Epe Division. Honorees included Hon. Prince Bayo Balogun (Rep. Ibeju-Lekki Federal Constituency), Rep. Wale Raji (Rep. Epe Federal Constituency), Dr. Abiodun Muritala (Accountant General of Lagos), Hon. Barrister Tokunbo Wahab (Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources), and Hon. Sesan Olowa (Ibeju-Lekki LG Chairman).
The new members inducted included Professor Bolanle Ogungbamila, Hon.
