Eredo LCDA Chairman, Hon. Ismail Akinloye, Spearheads Multifaceted Development Initiatives Across Local Communities

Under the dynamic leadership of Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, kakalistiq.com reports that the Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has embarked on an array of developmental projects aimed at enhancing infrastructure, education, and security within its jurisdiction.

A comprehensive grading of earth roads since Monday, February 12th, 2024, has been underway across various communities within the LCDA, addressing long-standing concerns of residents regarding accessibility and transportation. So far, a total of 55 notable roads, including Olori Mosunmola Street in Noforija and Ganiyu Oshineye Close in Imokun, have already undergone grading, with numerous others slated for improvement.

   

  

In a commendable display of commitment to education, Chairman Akinloye distributed 100 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms to aspiring candidates, ensuring that local students have access to opportunities for higher education.

In addition, the chairman recently completed the fencing of St. John RCM Primary School, Odomola, for the adequate safety of pupils and prevention of encroachment. Earlier in the new year, UPE Primary School, Imokun, was provided with a befitting dining hall for the use of pupils, an initiative that demonstrates the administration’s resolve to promote food hygiene among pupils.

Responding promptly to community needs, Chairman Akinloye pledged to address power supply issues in the Odogbawojo community by providing a 500 kVA transformer before the end of February 2024. This proactive initiative underscores the chairman’s dedication to improving the quality of life for all residents.

Moreover, a crucial peace and security meeting convened by Chairman Akinloye on Friday, February 16th, 2024, brought together security personnel and community leaders, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in maintaining safety and order. His administration’s tangible support, including donations of vehicles to security agencies, reflects a concerted effort to bolster security efforts within the LCDA.
