Folu Township Road Construction Flag Off Inspires Hope in Governance.

In an exemplary effort to ignite hope in grassroots governance through infrastructural development, Kakalistiq.com reports that the Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Engr. Rasak Bamidele Kasali, along with members of the executive council, management team, and party leaders/faithful, gathered for the flag-off ceremony marking the commencement of the construction of a 500-meter road in Folu, Lekki LCDA.

The event commenced with an opening prayer by Alhaji Shakirudeen Mohammed, who also extended greetings to Dr. Tola Kasali, the apex leader of Ibeju Lekki APC, acknowledging his support for the development of Lekki LCDA. Alhaji Shakirudeen Mohammed commended the efforts of the executive chairman in fostering sustainable development within the LCDA.
Mr. Egunnla Morufu, in his remarks, highlighted that the construction of the 500-meter road fulfils a promise made by the Chairman to the community during his campaign. He emphasized that the project would serve as a lasting legacy for the Chairman even after his tenure.
Council Manager, Mr. Shobule Oladipo, congratulated the residents of the Folu community and urged the youth to support the engineers on the field, emphasizing the importance of cooperation during the 6-month project duration.
In the same vein, Council Engineer, Engr. Olumuyiwa Genty, provided insights into the construction process, outlining the inclusion of drainage systems, solar street lights, interlocking, and other essential features for the road.
The Baale of Folu Town, Chief Tajudeen Lawal, and Youth Chairman, Mr. Tabira Odubote, assured the security of workers and materials on the site until the road’s completion. They encouraged parents to actively monitor the project’s progress and provide necessary support when needed.
