Akogun Wale Anomo, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi Ejinrin LCDA, have joined forces to empower and celebrate the successful graduation of participants from a 5-day political women’s empowerment program. This initiative exemplifies the spirit of partnership and collaboration towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in human capacity development.
The program, organized by Hon. Ogunkelu Sketel in collaboration with Ikosi Ejinrin LCDA, concluded with a grand ceremony attended by esteemed politicians from both within and outside the Epe division. The dignitaries present included the Executive Chairman, Hon. Akogun Wale Anomo, the leader of the House, Hon. Nashu, and other prominent figures.
Speaking on behalf of the political women present, the woman leader of Ikosi Ejinrin LCDA expressed gratitude to Hon. Ogunkelu Sketel for fulfilling his promises to his constituents. She pledged the support and loyalty of the women to committed political office holders like Akogun Wale Anomo and Hon. Hon. Akogun Wale Anomo expressed his delight at the dedication shown by the participants throughout the 5-day program. He seized the opportunity to announce further initiatives, including a quarterly employment program for IKOSI EJINRIN political women, with an expanded scope to include training in tailoring, hairdressing, shoe-making, and more. Each participant received starting materials and equipment worth millions of naira to kickstart their entrepreneurial journey.
