kakalistiq.com reports that Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has been honored with the Outstanding Local Government Chairman Award at the Nigeria-Ghana Leadership Summit, held in Abuja. Although he couldn’t attend the summit in person, the award was presented to him at the Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Secretariat in Agbowa.
The award was delivered today by Comrade Damilare Fagbodun, convener of Lagos Focus, on behalf of the summit’s organizers. “Akogun Anomo’s leadership has been nothing short of transformational,” said Fagbodun during the presentation. “His dedication to the development of Ikosi-Ejinrin is truly commendable.”
In a separate event, the Association of Oloris in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, led by Olori Fatimoh Mojisola Balogun, also honored the Chairman with an Award of Appreciation. The Oloris praised Anomo for his support and sponsorship of their participation in the 2024 Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) Summit. “Thanks to his sponsorship, we gained invaluable knowledge and experience,” said Olori Balogun, who also highlighted his commitment to the LCDA’s infrastructure and human capital development.
Upon receiving the awards, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo expressed deep gratitude to both the Nigeria-Ghana Leadership Summit organizers and the Association of Oloris. “These awards belong to the people of Ikosi-Ejinrin,” he said, dedicating the honors to his constituents.
He reaffirmed his commitment to driving both human capital and infrastructural growth in the LCDA, vowing to continue his efforts for the community’s progress.
