Lagos Senate Caucus Engages First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, Vows Senate’s Resolve Against Insecurity

In a show of unity and commitment to national security, kakalistiq.com reports that Senator Mikhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA (Lagos East), spearheaded a delegation of esteemed Senators from Lagos State, including Senator Wasiu Eshinlokun (Lagos Central) and Senator (Dr) Idiat Oluranti Adebule, on a courteous visit to Her Excellency, Senator (Mrs) Oluremi Tinubu, CON, the First Lady of Nigeria. The meeting took place today, Friday, March 15th, 2024, at the prestigious Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Senator Abiru, also serving as the Chairman of the Southern Senators’ Forum, took the opportunity to address the press, emphasizing the Senate’s unwavering dedication to combating insecurity and fostering economic stability. He reiterated the government’s commitment, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to implement impactful reforms aimed at securing the nation’s prosperity and well-being.

Speaking passionately about the economic challenges faced by Nigerians, Senator Abiru attributed many of these difficulties to past policy missteps.
