Nurturing Young Talent: Mrs. Kasali Celebrates Children’s Day with Enthusiasm.

During the Children’s Day event at Lekki High School, Mrs. Ramat Bola Kasali, Chairperson of the Local Council Development Area (LCDA), spoke passionately about the importance of investing in the younger generation. She emphasized the critical role that such celebrations play in recognizing and nurturing the talents of children, thereby shaping a promising future for the community.

The event culminated with the announcement of winners in different categories, with prizes presented by dignitaries to celebrate the students’ hard work and dedication. In the Primary Schools category, R.C.M. Lepia secured the 3rd position with an impressive performance, while U.P.E. Shiriwon clinched the 2nd position with their engaging display.
R.C.M. Lekki emerged victorious, winning the first position with their exceptional display of skills and talent. Hon. Oluremi Alogba, the Vice Chairman of the Local Council, presented the prize, congratulating the students and teachers for their outstanding efforts.

In the secondary school category, the competition was equally intense. Community Junior High School, Idata/Ilagbo, claimed the 2nd runner-up position, while Community Junior High School, Lekki, came in as the 1st runner-up. The excitement peaked as Community Junior High School, Idotun, was crowned the champion, their captivating performance winning the hearts of the audience. Mrs. Kasali herself presented the award, praising the school’s commitment to excellence.

As the Children’s Day celebration drew to a close, participants, teachers, and dignitaries reflected on a day filled with joy, laughter, and healthy competition. The event served as a testament to the importance of nurturing young talents and celebrating their accomplishments.
