Senator Abiru’s Intervention Bring Electricity Relief to Ikorodu and Kosofe Communities

Kakalistiq.com reports that residents of the Awofusi Community Development Association in Erunwen, Ikorodu, and Adebare Community in Kosofe are celebrating as they join the growing list of communities benefiting from enhanced electricity through the provision and installation of transformers. This development, facilitated by Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, the distinguished representative of Lagos East Senatorial District, has elicited profound gratitude and optimism among the residents.

The recent provision and installation of transformers also extended to other areas in Lagos East, including Owolowo Street and nearby areas close to Ikorodu Town Hall, as well as communities under the Exclusives Community Development Association in Igbogbo. This initiative aligns with Senator Abiru’s consistent efforts to uplift communities within the district through various projects such as mini-stadia, sports complexes, markets, solar-powered street lights, and more.

Mr. Enitan Olukotun, the media adviser to Senator Abiru, highlighted the senator’s previous contributions in providing transformers to communities such as Ifelodun CDA in Igbogbo-Bayeku, Magodo Community CDA in Oke Ota Ona, Ikorodu GRA 2 in Ibeshe Igbogbo-Bayeku, Ifeloju Abule Eko in Ijede Ikorodu, Sekungba CDA in Ikosi Ejirin, and several others across different local government areas.
