Swift Response to Rainstorm Damage in Eredo: Akinloye Praises Governor Sanwo-Olu’s Proactive Measures

Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, was on the ground to witness the devastating aftermath of a severe rainstorm that ravaged the Eredo LCDA, causing significant damage to properties and infrastructure and impacting the lives of many residents.

In an immediate response to the crisis, Hon. Akinloye reported the incident to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Understanding the urgency, Governor Sanwo-Olu promptly directed the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) to take swift action. This directive was particularly addressed to the Zonal Head of Epe, Mr. Austin, who oversees the Epe zone.

Hon. Akinloye, along with officials from LASEMA, conducted a thorough inspection of the affected area. Expressing his gratitude for the prompt intervention, Hon. Akinloye remarked, “Governor Sanwo-Olu’s quick response is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the welfare of Lagosians. His directives have mobilized the necessary resources to address this crisis effectively.”

Mr. Austin, the Zonal Head of LASEMA, assured residents of the state government’s dedication to their well-being. He stated, “We are here to ensure that all necessary measures are taken to assist those affected by the rainstorm and to restore normalcy in the community as swiftly as possible.”
