kakalistiq.com reports that the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba (Dr.) Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo (JP), Telade IV, has lauded Hon. Tasir Wale Raji’s commitment to educational development, describing it as a source of inspiration and a call to action for stakeholders. The commendation came during the commissioning of newly constructed two blocks of three classrooms at Adeshowon Secondary School, Ilara and a block of six classrooms at Igbooye Community Secondary School, Igbooye, Eredo LCDA, Epe, Lagos State.
Speaking at the event where he was accompanied by his wife Olori Bolanle Ogunsanwo and traditional chiefs from the kingdom, the revered monarch emphasized the significance of quality education as the foundation of a progressive society. “Today marks another milestone in our collective pursuit of quality education for our children. Education remains the bedrock of development, and Hon. Wale Raji’s unwavering dedication to improving educational infrastructure in our communities is truly commendable,” Oba Ogunsanwo stated.
The Alara highlighted that the new classroom blocks would provide a conducive learning environment, fostering academic excellence and discipline among students. He further stressed the need for continued investment in education, calling on government officials, corporate bodies, philanthropists, and community leaders to support the cause.
“Education is a powerful tool for social transformation. Hon. Wale Raji has reaffirmed his belief in this by facilitating these classrooms, ensuring that no child in our community is deprived of learning opportunities. This initiative should not mark the end but should propel us to do even more,” he added.
The monarch urged students to make the best use of the new facilities, encouraging them to study diligently and strive for excellence, as they are the future of Ilara Kingdom.
