Eredo LCDA Chairman Hails Governor Sanwo-Olu’s Relief Efforts

Monsuru Akinloye, has expressed profound satisfaction at the re-election of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for a second term. Commending the Governor’s commitment to the welfare of Lagosians, Akinloye lauded his initiative to distribute food palliatives to grassroots communities, aimed at alleviating the suffering caused by the harsh economic conditions.

Benefiting from the directive of the state government to provide relief packages, all five wards within the Eredo LCDA received assistance, today, Saturday, April 6th 2024, reflecting the government’s unwavering dedication to its citizens.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Monsuru Akinloye extended his gratitude to Governor Sanwo-Olu for his efforts in rolling out food relief packages across the state. He emphasized that the distribution of palliatives was inclusive, without any bias towards specific residents.

“This program today is facilitated by our Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu,” Akinloye stated. “Just two weeks ago, we gave out cash palliatives of NGN20,000 to a thousand people. He has provided us with the resources to take good care of the people of Eredo LCDA, evident in the multitude gathered here to receive the palliative.”

Expressing his admiration for the Governor’s leadership, Akinloye referred to him as the “Doing good governor” due to his remarkable developmental strides. He praised Governor Sanwo-Olu and his amiable Deputy for consistently making Conference 57 proud.

With the ongoing Ramadan season, Akinloye emphasized the importance of assisting the community, especially during challenging times. He assured residents of his commitment to organizing seamless exercises to alleviate hardship.

In his message to residents and critical stakeholders, Akinloye stressed the principle of reciprocity. Stating that they never regretted voting and supporting Governor Babajide Sanwoolu for another term, he pointed out that the opposition elements who rose to battle the governor at the polls laboured in vain. He prayed that it would be so in his case as he gears up for another term in office.

In response, beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the relief efforts. Mrs Kemi Sangosanya from Igboye, Alhaja Kafilat Adesanya, and Mr Emmanuel Olatunji Oshilade from Noforija extended their gratitude to Governor Sanwo-Olu and Hon. Monsuru Akinloye for their unwavering support during the challenging times.

As the relief efforts continue, residents remain optimistic about the future, trusting in the leadership of Governor Sanwo-Olu and the local government to navigate through adversity and bring about positive change.
