Senior Legislative Aide to Representative Wale Raji, Mr. Bashiru Hassan, provided insights into the remarkable features of the facility. The Agbowa Recreation Center, he said, encompasses state-of-the-art external facilities, including a regulation football field with changing rooms, a basketball court, and a lawn tennis court.

Additionally, the center boasts a sit-out area, a spacious parking lot, a snooker room, a table tennis room, a general office, a conference room, a manager’s office, and other conveniences.

Sharing the exciting progress on social media on Tuesday, January 9th, 2023, Mr. Hassan emphasized the vital role recreation centers play in communities. Beyond providing spaces for sports and leisure activities, these centers contribute to building strong social bonds, fostering healthier and happier communities, and positively impacting mental health.

In addition, he maintained that the benefits of recreation centers in communities include youth engagement, stressing that the facilities provide a platform for youth development, offering opportunities for skill-building and talent exploration.
