In a New Year’s Day celebration at Ibonwon, Eredo LCDA, Lagos State, Kakalistiq.com reports that Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu, member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing EPE Constituency II and Chairman of the House Committee on Physical Planning and Urban Development, rallied constituents to anticipate a wave of transformative projects and programs for accelerated prosperity from the leadership of the House of Assembly.
The event was attended by prominent political stakeholders and statesmen including Nigeria’s former Minister for Health, Dr. Abimbola Ogunkelu, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Chairman Hon. Wale Raji Animo, and former Eredo Vice SLG Hon. Samsideen Adeniyi (Ojo-Ibukun), set the stage for Hon. Ogunkelu’s optimistic vision for the upcoming year.
In an interview amid the vibrant celebration, Hon. Ogunkelu reflected on the political activities of 2023, emphasizing that 2024 would bring a shift towards a 100% focus on people-centric governance. In his New Year message, the assembly member extended heartfelt gratitude to constituents for their unwavering support. He specifically commended the peaceful conduct of the youth during the crossover, expressing appreciation for the calm atmosphere. He appealed to the youth to sustain peaceful coexistence, assuring them that with time, everything would be okay.
