Ibeju-Lekki Youth Group Launches Campaign to Reelect Sesan Olowa (Jaja) for Second Term.

In a bid to ensure continuity of development and progress in the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area, Kaklistiq.com reports that Alhaji Sonaike Omotola, the Convener of “Ibeju-Lekki Youth Reconnect 4 Jaja,” has unveiled plans to rally support for the reelection of Honorable Sesan Olowa, fondly known as ‘Jaja.’Recognizing the transformative impact of Chairman Jaja’s tenure, particularly on youth empowerment and overall community advancement, the group aims to consolidate its efforts through various initiatives.

Expressing the rationale behind the movement, Alhaji Sonaike emphasized the need for a unified front in endorsing Chairman Jaja for a second term. He highlighted the establishment of the “Ibeju-Lekki Youth Reconnect 4 Jaja” support group and the forthcoming solidarity walk, titled “IBLK Youths Walk 4 Jaja,” as vital strategies to engage and mobilize the youth demographic across diverse political affiliations.

“The purpose of this event is to harmonize various youths in Ibeju-Lekki, irrespective of their political affiliation to a particular group, towards the upcoming council election, and also, for the first time, we would like to push for a consensus candidate in the coming council election whereby all active political parties in Ibeju-Lekki would adopt the current chairman for a second term in office due to his excellent performance in his first tenure.”

“We also intend to submit a position paper to all active political parties in Ibeju-Lekki on why we should have a consensus candidate. The Walk 4 Jaja would also be an opportunity to encourage more youth participation in the coming council election,” he stated.

Additionally, the group restated their commitment to ensure they throw their weight behind the Chairman, emphasizing Jaja’s exemplary track record in local economy development, infrastructure enhancement, human capital empowerment, environmental sustainability, social welfare, and security.

The initiative spearheaded by Alhaji Sonaike Omotola highlights the collective commitment to sustaining the momentum of progress in Ibeju-Lekki through the reelection bid of Chairman Sesan Olowa.
