Lagos APC Chairman, Commissioner, Royal Figures Praise Rep. Wale Raji’s Educational Initiative in Rural Lagos.

Kakalistiq.com reports that the Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), alongside the Commissioner for Education and esteemed royal figures, has lauded the efforts of Representative Wale Raji in advancing education within rural communities. This commendation came during the groundbreaking ceremony for two blocks of six classrooms held in Oriba, Oko-Abe, Oriba, Ward C1, Epe Local Government of Lagos State, on Friday, February 16th, 2024.

Representing the APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, State Welfare Secretary Hon. Kehinde Adeniyi expressed gratitude to the leaders of Ward C1 for their unwavering support and loyalty to the party. He highlighted the unity of purpose demonstrated by local leaders, recalling their resolute rejection of opposition influence during the previous election and emphasizing the community’s steadfast commitment to the party’s ideals.

“This school project is a testament to your loyalty,” remarked Adeniyi. “I am proud to witness this historic event and commend our MHR for his outstanding contributions to road infrastructure, education, healthcare, and scholarship programs. Mr. Omojuwa Fred, representing the Honorable Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Jamiu Alli-Balogun, hailed Representative Wale Raji for his dedication to improving education in rural areas. Fred applauded the collaborative efforts between Raji’s office and the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, citing official approvals and support as evidence of their synergy. He emphasized the importance of protecting the school facility, urging community members to fence the premises and provide vigilant security upon completion.

“This achievement is remarkable,” Fred stated. “However, we must ensure the school’s security to prevent encroachment. I urge the community to take ownership of this project and safeguard its future.”

Echoing the sentiment for enhanced infrastructure and educational standards, HRM Oba Taiwo Gbadamosi, the Onito-Omu of Ito-Omu, emphasized the need for upgraded facilities and qualified teachers in schools across Ward C1. He advocated for the ward’s elevation to an LCDA due to population growth, calling for continued support and unity among community members. HRM Oba Sikiru Nureni Ebudola, the Oniladaba of Ladaba Kingdom, and HRM Oba Adeshina Adebowale, the Omola of Odomola, echoed these sentiments, urging community involvement and support for the project’s success.

Hon. Rotimi Ibrahim, the political leader of Ward C1, expressed gratitude to Representative Wale Raji for his efforts, expressing hope for similar health and road initiatives in his constituency.
