Facilitated by Senator Abiru, the scheme distributed fully vaccinated chickens, feeds, and cages to constituents on Sunday, November 26th, 2023.
The beneficiaries, hailing from diverse backgrounds, underwent comprehensive training by industry experts on bird nurturing techniques, mortality reduction, and the nuances of succeeding in the poultry business. The scheme aligns with NALDA’s mandate to promote sustainable agriculture and wealth creation in rural communities.
This initiative falls under the Facilitations/Empowerment pillar of Senator Abiru’s legislative agenda, designed to provide support and succor to constituents during challenging times. Representing the CEO/Executive Secretary of NALDA, Engr. Olusegun Owolabi highlighted the significance of the partnership with Senator Abiru in realizing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for agricultural development and food security.
