Rep. Wale Raji to Commission Newly Constructed Classroom Blocks in Ilara and Igbooye.

Wale Raji, Member of the House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Livestock Development is set to commission newly constructed classroom blocks with furniture in Ilara Kingdom and Igbooye as part of his ongoing commitment to improving education infrastructure in the constituency.

Speaking on the upcoming event in a statement, Kaka Babatunde, Senior Legislative Aide to Rep. Wale Raji on Media and Youth Affairs, emphasized the significance of the projects. “Rep. Wale Raji remains dedicated to enhancing access to quality education for students in Epe. These new classroom blocks are part of his broader vision to provide a conducive learning environment for our young minds,” he stated.

The commissioning ceremonies will take place on Friday, February 7, 2025, beginning at Adeshowon Secondary School, Ilara Kingdom, Eredo LCDA, at 10:00 AM, where two fully furnished blocks of three classrooms will be unveiled by HRM Alayeluwa Oba Dr. Olukayode Olufolarin Ogunsanwo, Telade IV, Alara of Ilara Kingdom, and Chief S.O. Bakare, Baba Alaje of Ijebu Land and Chairman of Oluwalogbon Group of Companies.

At noon, the focus will shift to Igbooye Community Secondary School, Igbooye, where a newly constructed block of six fully furnished classrooms will be commissioned by Lady Doja Otedola, Former First Lady of Lagos State and Yeye Oba of Igbooye.

The ceremonies are expected to attract prominent dignitaries, including Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, Lagos APC Chairman; Hon. Jamiu Alli-Balogun, Commissioner for Basic & Secondary Education; and Dr. Idowu Oyetola, Tutor-General of Education District 3, Lagos, alongside respected political and community leaders.

These projects reflect his continuous efforts to ensure that students in Epe Federal Constituency have access to the best possible learning environment,” he said.
