The ceremony, held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, brought together APC Party leaders, constituents, and notable figures in Epe to witness the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Primary Healthcare Centre (PHC) in Iraye Oke, the Siwola Road in Odo-Siwola, and the revitalized Mojoda Market.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Hamzat applauded Hon. Wale Raji for his dedication to community welfare, emphasizing the importance of the newly commissioned 20-bed capacity health center in combating the high infant mortality rate in Nigeria. The Deputy Governor commended Raji’s insight and commitment, attributing the success of the projects to his relentless pursuit of community well-being.
APC State Chairman, Rev. Cornelius Ojelabi; GAC member and APC Apex-Leader, Epe Division, Alhaji Shakirudeen Akanni Seriki (Bamu); former First Lady in Lagos State, Lady Doja Otedola; and constituents echoed the sentiment of Raji’s outstanding performance. The commissioning caravan later moved to the redeveloped Mojoda Market, where nearly 100 lock-up shops and open stalls were generously provided free of charge to constituents.
The symbolic allocation of the shops and stalls, marked by the unveiling of a commemorative plaque by Dr. Hamzat, showcased Hon. Raji’s commitment to uplifting the lives of his constituents. The Iyaloja of the Market, Mrs. Wosia Awonaike, and other traders expressed profound gratitude to Hon.
