In a joyous and empowering event, Kakalistiq.com reports that Mrs. Ramat Bola Kasali, Chairperson of Lekki LCDA, encouraged women to embrace the teachings of Christ while celebrating the women groups in the LCDA for their steadfastness, resilience, and progressive spirit.
Delivering her Christmas message, Mrs. Kasali urged the women groups to embody Christ-like virtues during the festive season and in all their endeavors. Emphasizing the importance of governance focused on results and substance, she highlighted the achievements of the Executive Chairman since taking office and assured of more people-centric programs.
Mrs. Kasali expressed gratitude to the party’s apex leader, Dr. Odutola Tajudeen Kasali, for his mentorship and leadership. She also acknowledged the contributions of the party chairman, Bishop Adedayo Babatunde, the APC women leader, Alhaja Adeleke Jemilat, party leaders, artisans, council management led by the council manager, Barrister Shobule, and the people of Lekki LCDA for their understanding and support.
Encouraging love and perseverance in interpersonal relationships, Mrs. Kasali thanked everyone for their ongoing support of the APC party and looked forward to continued backing in the future.
The event included a health talk on hypertension, diabetes, and vaccination by the Apex Nurse of Lekki PHC, Mrs. Unoroh Taiwo. Recognizing the role of parenting in national prosperity, a talk was delivered by Mrs. Bakre Adejoke from the Department of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA).
In a gesture of support for women’s socio-economic growth, empowerment equipment, including Sumo sewing machines and grinding machines, was distributed to selected women from each ward. Cash gifts were also presented to 20 women who demonstrated knowledge about Lekki LCDA’s history and future.
The Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA and his wife extended warm wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone.
