A massive turnout of football enthusiasts witnessed enthralling clashes at Okusanya Primary School Playing Ground, Tabon-tabon, Agege, Lagos, on Thursday, November 30th, 2023.

In a masterpiece of quality soccer display during the first match, Vinod FC defeated Lapero FC with a scoreline of 3-1. Emmanuel Favor, jersey No. 14 of Vinod FC, earned Man of the Match for his masterful soccer skills that captivated the spectators.

In the second match of the quarterfinal fixture, Youthful Talents FC showcased their prowess by trouncing Shuffle Select FC with a score of 3-1, securing their spot in the semi-final. Emmanuel Okoye, jersey No. 20 of Youthful Talents FC, claimed the best player on the field in this thrilling encounter.

At the end of the day’s matches, Vinod FC and Youthful Talents FC emerged victorious, earning their places in the semi-final rounds scheduled at Anwar-Islam College, Oniwaya, Agege, Lagos.

In the second quarter-final fixture held on Friday, December 1st, 2023, Great United FC dominated in a thrilling match against Mageeco FC, finishing with a scoreline of 3-0. Living Proof FC secured the last spot in the semi-final by defeating Golden Stars FA with a narrow 1-0 victory.

The Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Alh Ganiu Abiodun Obasa, expressed gratitude to spectators, fans, and the school management for their cooperation. He congratulated the qualifying teams and encouraged those who didn’t make it to regroup for future editions. Notable dignitaries, including Hon. Abiodun Olanrewaju, Comrade Babatunde, Rotimi Odejobi, Hon. Jelili, and Hon. Fatai Ajibola, presented awards for the “Man of the Match” in the matches played.
